Metlakatla, Alaska
is located on the west side of the Annette Islands in Southeast Alaska. The first island to begin what Alaskans call the Panhandle. Annette island is located on what is known as the Inside Passage.

Fly on a 15-minute float plane ride from Ketchikan, Alaska. You can also take your vehicle or bicycle on the Alaska Marine Highway ferry from Prince Rupert in British Columbia, Canada, or from Bellingham in Washington, to Ketchikan, then on to Annette Island.
Vehicles arriving via ferry must check in with the Metlakatla Police Department to report the length of stay.
If you choose to come in your own boat, you must check in with the Harbor Master upon arrival using VHF ch.
