Duncan Cottage Museum
The Duncan Cottage is a House Museum. Travel back a century when you visit the historic site of the Duncan Cottage Museum. Built in 1891 for Anglican missionary William Duncan. This museum contains personal items of Mr. Duncan. Original furnishings, turn of the century collections of music boxes such as Thomas A. Edison's second invented phonograph made from a treadle sewing machine. Telephones brought from Canada. Medical supplies, Educational material, Musical Instruments. See and hear the migration story through historic photographs of Canadian government supporters and the Tsimshian migration to Annette Islands, Alaska USA. This completes the history of the missionary William Duncan by visiting his grave site and the Duncan Memorial Church.
